Your students will practice. They just won't call it that.
The hardest part of beginner lessons happens between them: getting a six-year-old to pick up their instrument at home. On Mazalchik the reason to play is the story. The plot stops, and the only way to find out what happens next is to play a short piece, at exactly the student's level.
- A 34-level beginner piano path. It starts with one note (Middle C, right-hand thumb, quarter, half and whole notes) and builds step by step to both hands.
- The right level for each student. Students rate every piece easy, OK or hard and the app adjusts. Parents can set the starting level, so you can tell a family exactly where to begin.
- Notation made for beginners. Color-coded notes with finger numbers for piano, tabs for guitar and ukulele, hole numbers for harmonica, rhythm grids for drums and darbuka.
- Real music. Folk and classical tunes in simple arrangements, alongside short warm-ups, written to fit the mood of the scene: suspense, giggles, magic or a chase.
- Parents see the minutes. The Parent dashboard shows daily practice time, pieces played and what felt hard. Handy to bring to the next lesson.
- It supports your teaching; it doesn't replace it. No method to unlearn, no grading. Just more time on the keys.

Let's talk
We're in a free beta and actively shaping Mazalchik with teachers. Tell us about your studio: what your youngest students struggle with, which methods you use, and what you'd want to see (a teacher view of student practice is one idea we're exploring). We'll reply personally.
Free during the beta for every family you send. No commissions, no catches.
