Chapter 1: Don't Touch the Yellow Button

Uncle Ziggy is the weirdest uncle on the block. He has a mustache shaped like a bicycle, an antenna on his roof, and a basement nobody is allowed into.

This week he went to an inventors' convention. He left Maya and her little brother Gogo a key and a note:

"Feed the goldfish. Don't touch anything. Especially not the red button. And never, ever, EVER the yellow button!"

"And be home at seven sharp," said Mom. "It's chicken nugget night."

It was six o'clock. What could possibly happen in one hour?

How the music works

Every few pages, the story pauses for a music moment that fits the scene: a lullaby, a chase, a spooky tune, a victory march. Your child plays a short piece on their own instrument (piano or keyboard, guitar, ukulele, recorder, harmonica, tongue drum, drums or darbuka) at exactly their level, rates how it went, and the next pieces adjust. Uncle Ziggy's Jumpinator has 10 music moments across 22 pages.
