Chapter 1: After Monday Comes… Wednesday?

In Neon City, in the year 3024, everything floats: cars, pizzas, even grandmas on flying scooters.

Nova, age nine and a half, is the best detective on Floor 312. Her partner is Bolty — a robot dog on a hover-skateboard who barks in three languages and loves nuts and bolts with ketchup.

That morning, the hologram calendar beeped: "Good morning! Today is... Wednesday."

Nova blinked. "Wait. Yesterday was Monday!" The week chart still hung on the fridge: Monday — Robotics Club. Tuesday — Bolty's bath. Wednesday — Pizza.

"Woof," said Bolty, and licked something purple and sparkly off his nose.

How the music works

Every few pages, the story pauses for a music moment that fits the scene: a lullaby, a chase, a spooky tune, a victory march. Your child plays a short piece on their own instrument (piano or keyboard, guitar, ukulele, recorder, harmonica, tongue drum, drums or darbuka) at exactly their level, rates how it went, and the next pieces adjust. Who Stole Tuesday? has 6 music moments across 14 pages.
